11 Months

This is beyond late:

June 8, 2011

Dear Claire,

I can’t believe that you are one month away from being a year old! In the past 11 months you have changed our lives so much and we wouldn’t have it any other way. I can’t even remember before you were here and weren’t a part of our lives.

This past month you have done so many fun things! The biggest of these was flying to China to see Pop and Tutu! You were great on the plane rides, the layovers, and entertaining everyone on the planes. We were in Beijing for 3 weeks and saw a lot of things. You slept great which was my biggest worry and you were such a trooper every day. I can’t wait to show you pictures of where we went one day.

You also started walking! Just taking small steps alone or longer stretches with your push toy. We have more baby proofing to do in the house now!

You started getting your third tooth while we were in China. It hasn’t seemed to bother you at all. When we got home it finally broke through and you are on your way to having a top tooth!

Other fun things:

·    Still wearing size 3 diapers

·    3 bottles a day

·    You love going to Gymboree and playing with your friends

·    You sleep 12 hours at night and 2 naps a day

·    You love eating things you can pick up by yourself

·    You love floating in your raft at the pool or anything that involves water

·    You are getting good at giving kisses, waving bye-bye, and shaking your head no!

We love you and can’t believe you’re almost ONE!
