Wild Woman

Dear Claire,

You have been doing all kinds of crazy things this week. We lowered your mattress last week because you tried to lean over the edge. When we lowered it I thought all issues were resolved. Wrong.

Today you have been a wild woman in your crib. First I must say you have done an excellent job of sleeping the past two nights. 8 pm until 8 am makes for a happy mommy. But what makes for a scared mommy is when you stick your arm out of the crib to the electrical socket to pull the heavy plug out of the wall and bring it in to your bed. How you pulled it out of the wall and lifted it to your bed is beyond me. I pulled your bed away from the wall until I can go get socket covers.

Then this afternoon while I was putting away your clothes you stuck your hands up on the side of your crib and just pulled yourself up. You were laughing and screaming- you thought you were so funny. Luckily you can barely see over the top of the crib but seriously. You walked around the crib holding on to the side and tried biting the crib.

This morning daddy said you are going to be a problem child :) I just keep looking at you and thinking you're only 7 1/2 months but you are starting to do so much! You can slow down anytime.
