Is that you can go to the beach or pool year round. We prefer the pool with small babies. It's cooler with the shade provided, the Hawaiian sun isn't beating down on you, the water is usually warmer, there isn't sand for small people to eat, and if you go to the right pool there's a bar. Now, I haven't participated a lot in the last part of that list in a very long time. Over a year now, but I will admit I was that mom that fed her baby and had a lava flow. Don't judge. If you had the chance to have a lava flow from there you would too. If you are ever in Hawaii and need somewhere to have a drink outside where you can watch the beach and fireworks on Friday night go to the Barefoot Bar.
Back to the pool...we went on Sunday with a group of friends to the Hale Koa. It's really a great pool for military families or people staying at the hotel, which you have to be military to stay at. It's right on the beach and it makes you feel like you are on vacation even though you live literally 20 minutes away.
Claire has been to the pool before and liked it. I think because the water was warm since we went later in the day. On Sunday she didn't like it so much. She yelled. A lot. She finally calmed down when all the bigger small children were out of the pool and it wasn't so loud. We splashed on the steps and took some pictures. She seemed to like it more when Jeremy held her out of the water though. She's only 4 months old! What can I expect. We still have atleast 3 years to like the water.
Later that night we came home and took a nice warm bubble bath. There were no tears.
