I Love the Weekend

This weekend was busy and full of friends. I really love our friends that have turned into a little family here in Hawaii. Friday night we went and ate dinner and played chicken foot at Jamie and Deuane's house. Their have two rather large dogs. The smaller one, a bulldog, is really good with Claire and was trying to bring her his bone. It was so cute. She followed him with her eyes around the room.

Saturday I got up and fed Claire then Justin let me go back to sleep for a few hours. It's so weird getting more sleep at night. I actually find myself more tired in the morning until I get us to the gym to work out. After I finished my school work and Justin helped Jeremy with some stuff we took Claire to the pool for the first time! We waited until the afternoon so the pool was a little warmer. At first she looked like she was going to cry when Justin handed her to me, but then she kind of got use to it. She even smiled a little. She lasted about 15 minutes and was ready to get out. It was fun though for her first time "swimming".

Saturday night we had the Noland family and Jeremy over for dinner. Grant is a cutie pie and we love him. He is one of Claire's many boyfriends. Brooke likes to point out he is the oldest and most girls go for older guys :) He was so cute with her (when they weren't crying) and just watched her Baby Einstein movie with her and then he laid down to watch Little Bear or some other kid show I'm going to have to learn, while she slept.

Yesterday we hung out and dressed Claire up in her Care Bear outfit. I don't like characters at all...but this was too funny not to buy.

Now it's Monday and we are back in our weekly routine...gym, home to nap, errands if we need to, more napping, school work, dinner, bath, and bed! Other things thrown in there when they need to be. I love being able to stay home with her right now.
