10 Weeks...and Some Shots!

It's crazy how time has flown by since she was born. Yesterday we took her to the doctor for her two month check up. Everything was fine in the waiting room...then we got called back. From there it was not so great. First, getting her naked, which might be her least favorite thing ever, resulted in screaming. This was followed by pooping and peeing on the table. Awesome :) Second, we went into the room where she is still only wearing a diaper. The doctor comes in and she begins to scream ever louder. The doctor was great and went as quickly as she could while answering all my questions. Last, but not least, shot time. Thank the Lord Justin was there. He held her and gave her the liquid she had to take...then came the big bad (probably 20 year old) corpsman (woman). I stood in the corner and walked around wanting to throw up because I do not like shots. Claire took them like a trooper and we were done before I knew it. Although she cried and gasped for air a few times it was fine! We got the Tylenol in her as soon as we got home and she napped the rest of the afternoon and into the night.

The night time is when it got interesting. She went to bed at 9:30 like normal...but got up at 1:30...ate...put her back down and she wouldn't go back to sleep. Justin held her and got her back to bed...but Claire and I ended up on the couch at 5 to get a little more sleep.

Today she is a little crabby...she has been sleeping most of the day and when she's awake it's not the smiley little baby I have been seeing. The doctor told me it would happen and she would be fine in a day or two. Atleast she let me run my errands. Off to see daddy at the boat!

I'll leave you with this super sweet (maybe a little sad) picture:
