Hiking

This weekend we took Claire on her first hike. She got loaded up in the BOB and we headed out on the Makapuu Lighthouse! We brought Winston so I told Justin I would push and he could walk him. When we were half way up the first part of the hill he was pushing Claire and I was walking Winston. Two days later my butt is still sore!

We went on the hike because it's really close to the ocean and it's where humpback whales comes during the winter so you can get a good view of them. We didn't see any and I was sad but it was such an amazing view that it made up for it. Maybe we will go again before whale season ends. Claire was awake and happy the entire hike. She got to get out, look around, and take some pictures. On the way down she was screaming with happiness, or fear I'm not sure because it was a steep path down! Winston was a trooper too and by the time we got the car moving he was passed out.
