Back from Kauai and Back to School

We got back from Kauai and two days later headed back to work. We had a really good time in Kauai getting to see all the things we wanted to see and enjoy some down time to do nothing. The island is small and a much slower pace than Oahu. I don't know how people live there, but they do! We went on a helicopter ride, which wasn't so bad until the last 5 minutes. Jeremy (my brother in law) thought I was joking until Nikki told him she didn't think so! Nope, no joke there. The pilot took the last turn and I was no longer having the ride. We made it to the ground safe and sound with nothing to show for it :) Thank the Lord! The other days we saw sights and took a tour. It was fun to get to go there because who knows when or if we will ever go back!

This week at school was better for me then it was before Christmas break. Although I am still getting sick in the mornings I feel like I get over it more quickly and I'm not in a grumpy mood the rest of the day. I haven't gotten sick the past 2 days...knock on wood!  That is a VERY exciting feeling! I just feel like I'm more productive during the day and a better teacher. The only thing that is getting hard is knowing I'm not going back next year. My boss knows and so do all the other teachers. Oh well, it will be totally worth getting to stay home until we move hopefully back to the Houston area! We might be moving in December and moving with a baby and Winston will need be prepared to the best of our ability!

Today I am off to look for a Bella Band or something similar so I can keep wearing some pants. I have had my first causality in the jeans department and I am not ready to put the in the back of the closet YET.  I did learn a rubber band trick thanks to one of the first grade parents Harmony/my favorite photographer http://harmonyjphotography.com  check her out! :) I can't wait for her to take baby pictures for us! Alsooo off to look for some new shirts. I feel chubby in my J.Crew shirts that I love so much!

I go to the doctor on Wednesday! Normal appointment in the morning and ultrasound in the afternoon! Justin won't get to go again because he is playing battleship, but I will have Kortnee and Lorelai to join me!
