Home Sweet Home

Claire has had a cold the past week. It doesn't seem to be bothering her as much as the constant snot is bothering me. The first two days she wasn't herself but once we gave her some Benadryl she bounced right back. I think she might be teething and that could have something to do with the constant runny nose, extra special drool, and waking up crying in the night. Luckily she has just been crying or moaning herself back to sleep and it doesn't last too long. That sounds like abuse...but I promise if it goes on for more than 5 minutes I'm in there!

We have just been playing around the house this week. We usually go to Gymboree twice a week but being the good teacher mommy I am we have skipped! I think tomorrow we will go meet our buddies for open gym and make up a class on Friday. She needs to get some energy out. She is starting to get quick and last week made it half way up the stairs. Needless to say we have invested in more baby gates and now we feel like we are jumping hurdles to get into the kitchen or go upstairs.

Today we are going to visit the Easter bunny at the mall! I saw him last week when I went up there alone. Wonder if Claire will cry or not! Be on the lookout for the next post about our visit.
