This weekend was so great. We spent Claire's first Easter with our friends here in Hawaii and the Bunny left Claire some serious gifts in her basket. Justin informed me that I probably had more fun putting her basket together then she is going to have with everything in it. Whatever, I don't care. I found her cute basket on Etsy and then the goodies in various places.
She stocked up on her favorite shows, books, and balls. She also got a tunnel courtesy of Daddy Bunny who thought she needed it after she kept getting stuck trying to crawl under her learning table. Being the obsessive teacher/mom I am there were also things order from Lakeshore. It's seriously an addictive place. I wish there was was in Hawaii because shipping might be the worst ever from there!
She was so stinking cute when we turned on the video camera and took her picture by her basket. She slowly checked out the eggs and then got busy playing! She loves reading books and sat in my lap to explore her new books and hear what Easter is really about. I just love her at this age right now. She is always happy and so easy. She played all morning with her basket and took a nap.
Sunday afternoon we went and celebrated Grant's 2nd birthday! Brooke was nice enough to have us over for Easter and Grant's birthday all wrapped into one! We videoed the whole party so that the party can be shared literally around the world.
It was a great day and days like this make me love our little family so much.
