Claire took her first trip

I haven't been on here in awhile because we flew to Houston to see family and friends for Spring Break! It was a good trip and we were happy to be home for a week. I went to Dallas with my mom and my friends from college gave me a baby shower. We got a bunch of great stuff! The challenge now is where to put it all. One thing is for sure...Claire is loved!!!

Here are some pictures of what will be her room. IT'S A MESS AT THE MOMENT!!! I can't wait to see the end results. For now, until I get done with my current master's class it is going to be this way...My Type A issues aren't handling this very well, but for the next four weeks I think I'll live.

She has to share with the guest room since we only have two rooms (it's going to be a little crowded, but hopefully when we move she will get her own room). I'm sure she won't mind for awhile ;) My mom has to have somewhere to stay when she comes for the whole month of July!!!

Today we had a doctor appointment! I'm finally at the point where they measure my belly and it's right on track, I gained a few pounds, my blood pressure was at the right spot, and her heartbeat was in the 150's! Wahoo! All around a good day.

In other news: My current master's class is going to be my last one until August. We have a lot of stuff going on between now and Claire's arrival. I know it will be hard to go back after I take a break (my advisor is really good at telling me this) but I think it's the best thing for us at the current time. I will now finish my masters in February. Whew!
