Two Years

This is late and that's life these days.

Claire turned two on July 8th! We were in Houston and had a small family birthday party for her. She had a busy month before she turned two and has become such a spunky, fun, crazy little person. She is constantly talking and always moving at high speed. We found out that Claire is going to be a big sister to two little people later this year! We know she will be great because she loves little babies and tries to be helpful.

This month she:

• Had to go to the ER because she was dehydrated.
• Had to visit the doctor twice for a rash that seems to be coming from a milk allergy. Boo. We are going to get that tested at her check-up. 
• Flew to Los Angeles to visit Aunt Kim. We took a trip to DisneyLand where she did NOT want to get off any rides. She was having so much fun all day long. 
• Flew to Texas and had a cross Texas road trip to start off our summer. We visited Dallas, San Angelo, and Lubbock. 
• Took her second year of swim lessons and did great! I was so happy to see she remembered things she learned last year. I know next year will be fabulous!
• Visited Great Grandparents in San Antonio, met a friend of mommy's, and went to Sea World. Again, loved the park and didn't want to leave.
• Started saying more phrases and doing the funniest things. Examples: I a mess, No guys!, I coming, I hiding, Pwease, I tired, I eat, I 'nuggle you (I snuggle you).
• Not so funny: Saying "NO" over and over...and over.
• Shouldn't be funny, but seriously I laugh every single time: Waving of arms and yelling "ever" or "never".
• Runs everywhere.
• Likes to brush her own hair after her bath now.
• Woke up every morning in Houston and asked to see "daddy and buddy"
• Flew home to Hawaii.
• Protests against the diaper situation. This will be getting solved soon little lady. 

Claire has gotten so big and so fun. She makes us laugh and look at each other with our jaws wide open daily. I love the stage she's at right now because she's very lovey, most of the time. I will be ready to get back into the school routine next week with her. 

Justin made her bed into a toddler bed before we buy the real big girl bed! I can't believe how big she is getting and it's going so fast.
