This past weekend we took a mini "Staycation" and stayed on Oahu, but went to an amazing hotel for our 2nd anniversary/celebrating the boys coming home. I highly recommend it: The Royal Hawaiian. I slept like a baby in their bed and the pool was lovely. Our friends Brooke and Matt stayed there too! Here are some pictures:
Friday we head to the doctor to see how Miss Claire is doing and see if there might be any progress going on. I'm sure there isn't, but we will see! It would be exciting if there was!
Meet Claire's boyfriend...his name is Grant and he is our friends Matt and Brooke's handsome 1 year old who got baptized this past weekend on Father's Day. Even though Claire isn't here yet he likes to buy her things and gently (?) point to Claire (okay maybe sometimes pat her really hard). We can put the last part aside though because we LOVE him! Isn't he a cutie?
Today when I was getting showered and dressed I caught Winston in Claire's room just sitting on the floor. Poor guy doesn't even know what's about to happen to him or what's about to live in that room :) He has been extra snuggly to me lately even though Justin is home. Another sad thing: at night when we go up to bed he has been slowly walking over to his bed- which he hasn't slept in since before Christmas. Last night I told Justin to leave the door open because he wouldn't stay in there- but he did, until 5 this morning and then he started doing laps in our room. Not okay.
