It's already May 1st!

This is crazy. It seems like just yesterday we were telling people we are having a baby! It's been almost 7 months since we found out and 4 since we told the world. Last night I watched our sweet goddaughter. She came over and we played for awhile before she was ready to go to bed. Winston is very interested in her. He sees her all the time but still likes to sniff her and he wants to be by her all the time. Last night we were sitting on the couch and he came and sat by us. He let her pet (more like bang) him and he just sniffed (and licked a little). She was laughing so hard. It was so cute to watch her. At one point she did grab the hair around his mouth to which he looked at me like begging for help. One of our friends (Thanks Nolands!) gave us their jump-a-roo to use when Claire gets big. It was the one we registered for and it looks like it has never been used. L played in it and Winston just watched. When it was time to go lay her down in the pack and play (I undid ours out of the box- we would have to eventually anyway! Thanks Lo and Sheila!) he just watched her sleep. They did play together for awhile. He would put his paw on the side and she would giggle and scratch the other side. I think he will be okay in the baby department. It might be more difficult when Claire is here all the time, but he will get use to it.

I'm off in search of little hats, headbands, and bows this morning. There is a craft fair on the air force base and this cute vendor will be there. I'm excited! Then it's off to find maternity shorts. Let me be clear...I still fit in my regular shorts and pants with the help of a Bella Band:  http://www.ingridandisabel.com/ but it is getting a little HOT in Hawaii. Yesterday I left school following dismissal, got my bathing suit on, and went to the pool! The Bella Band, while nice to wear so I can still wear my regular shorts, is making me extra HOT. Not to mention Claire moving and cooking inside is not always the most comfortable. So, today off to find shorts and maybe some more skirts and dresses!

My mom is coming soon! We are going to be busy finishing up Claire's room. I'm getting excited! My goal is to have it finished by June 18th :) We will see how that goes.
